Perito Bookcase
Covet HousePerito Moreno Glacier, a vast ice mass, has an oddly continuous and wide plain-like look, not organically shaped like other glaciers, and also irradiates a soft and warm hue, which contrasts with the ice plates’ coldness. This Bookcase is clearly inspired by it, with its straight stainless steel-styled lines evoking the form and coldness of a glacier. The amorphic appearance of the wooden sections is reminiscent of ice fractures. Every level of the bookshelf is divided by a stylish wood veneer walnut top, giving a powerful clean look.
